Across the field

from £39.99

I was drawn to the way the fence runs across the field, leading your eye through the photograph and into the landscape beyond. The summer greens, the changing light and the clouds moving across the sky all came together to make what might seem like a simple scene feel a little more interesting.

I enjoy looking for these natural lines when I’m out with my camera, and seeing how they can draw you into a photograph. The fence gives the image a sense of direction, while the light and clouds add their own character to the scene.

There’s nothing particularly complicated about this view, but that’s what I like about it. Just the Dorset countryside in summer, the light doing its thing, and a moment that caught my eye.
